- Open Outlook 2002 & 2003.
- If you see an Internet Connection Wizard for Outlook 2002/2003 continue with the steps in "Set Up Outlook 2002/2003 with the Internet Connection Wizard.
If you do not see an Internet Connection Wizard , then Outlook 2002/2003 has already been used or configured on your computer (even though it may not be set up for your address yet), and you should follow the instructions in "Set up my email address in Outlook 2002/2003".
1. First, open Outlook 2002 or 2003 by clicking
Start, Programs,
and
Microsoft Outlook.
2. Click
Next.
3. Select
Yes.
4. Click
Next.
5. Select
POP3
6. Click
Next.
7. Enter your
User Information, your name
and your
e-mail address.
8. Enter your
Server Information, Incoming mail server:
“pop.birch.net” and
Outgoing mail server:
“smtp.birch.net”.
9. Enter Your
Logon Information. Your User Name
is your full e-mail address.
Your Password
is the password you established with Birch for your e-mail address. Check
Remember password
if you want Outlook to remember it the next time you check your mail.
10. Do
NOT
check
Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
11. Click
Next.
12. Click the
Finish
.

menu.
4. Select the
Add a new e-mail account
option.
5. Click
Next.
6. Select
POP3
