If you receive spam (including any type of unsolicited commercial emails) please follow the instructions below your for email software. If your software is not listed, please forward the spam, including all headers, to abuse@birch.net
Please do not follow any unsubscribe instructions included in the spam. The majority of the time, the unsubscribe instructions do not work, and sometimes spammers are merely trying to verify that your email address is valid. That means you could actually end up with more spam if you follow their unsubscribe instructions!
Although we cannot stop all spam messages from reaching your inbox, we do our best to block as many as possible.
Birch WebMail
Open the message. Click "Report as Spam”.
Outlook 97 & 98
Open the message. Go to "View", select "Options". In the "Message Options" box, there is a field labeled "Internet Headers". Click and highlight all text within that field, then right-click your mouse and select "Copy". Forward the original message to abuse@birch.net and then paste the Internet Headers into the top of the message.
Outlook 2000 & 2002
Select the message. Right-click on the message and select "Options". In the "Message Options" box, there is a field labeled "Internet Headers". Click and highlight all text within that field, then right-click your mouse and select "Copy". Forward the original message to abuse@birch.net and then paste the Internet Headers into the top of the message.
Outlook Express
Select the message. Right-click on the message and select "Properties" then select the "Details" tab. There is a field labeled "Internet Headers for this message:" Click and highlight all text within that field, then right-click your mouse and select "Copy". Forward the original message to abuse@birch.net and then paste the Internet Headers into the top of the message.
Netscape Mail
Open the message. Go to "View", select "Headers" then select "All". All your messages from now on will have the full headers. Above the message. Forward the message to abuse@birch.net
