    Birch Enhances MPLS Service for Multi-Location Customers

    Atlanta – April 27, 2015 – Birch Communications, Inc., (“Birch”) a leading technology service provider of IP-based communications, broadband, cloud and IT-services to small, mid-sized, enterprise and wholesale businesses, announced today it has enhanced its Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) product by expanding its available footprint and improving the service delivery experience for new and existing customers.    

    Birch’s MPLS product securely connects corporate and branch offices nationally over its carrier-grade, privately-owned IP-Network that supports all mission-critical voice and data traffic.  It provides custom virtual local area network solutions with Quality of Service and can be used to provide network redundancy for customers.  Customers requiring compliance to security standards benefit from encrypted and authenticated security through the secure conduit supplied by the Birch MPLS service.

    Additionally, enterprises can benefit from one virtual network that routes data access to information and applications from all locations equally.  MPLS can be provided through any service delivery method on Birch’s nationwide IP-Network with over 600 Points of Presence (POPs) in 22 states, spanning 31,000 fiber-route miles and through network to network interfaces, making Birch’s MPLS service available nationwide.
